Clara-Lane Lens, born 1997, is a Belgian painter mainly focussing on portraits of androgynous personas. At the age of 21 she had a first solo exposition (Le Lac, Brussels) ‘Genderless’, the theme of the exposition stays the inspiration for most of her works upon today. Clara-Lane Lens currently lives and works in Berlin, where she prepares a forth solo exhibition to be held at JVDW gallery (Düsseldorf) upcoming September (2023).

“Clara-Lane is probably mostly known for the Genderless Series, which consists of portraits where she consciously eliminates the notion of gender in the subjects.
